What doesn't kill you...

Not my actual fridge

Alas, everything must come to an end. My vacation is over. It was wonderful.

*sigh*

Still, it's really good to be home.

In fact, the only thing that could have improved upon my homecoming would have been discovering that my main circuit breaker was up and my fridge was working.

(Fortunately, the blackout was only about a day or two (or three?); some of the frozen meat in my freezer was still slightly cool.)

I threw out quite a bit of food, thoroughly cleaned parts of my fridge and went to sleep at 22:00... only to find myself wide awake at 2:00 AM. The joys of jet-lag.

So I headed to the kitchen, and cooked a beef stew... as you do... to help me determine whether or not the food in my freezer would kill me.

It didn't.

I concluded from this that the rest is probably safe, too.

Don't worry, though, I won't feed it to any of you.
